T2115 Advance Earthworks at Mandai Depot

Client:
Land Transport Authority

Contract Value:
S$ 71,100,000

Contract Duration:
1 November 2012 to 29 August 2014 (22 months)

Description:
Advance earthwork for the proposed Thomson Line (TSL) Depot at the former Orchidville bounded by SLE, Mandai Road and Lorong Lada Hitam. It involves major excavation work of approximately 3,000,000 cubic meter including demolition, ground treatment, drain & park connector diversion and slope protection.

In November 2013, we have successfully completed and handed over Phase 1 of the project to Jurong Primewide for the construction of Mandai Depot. This milestone have reinforced our belief that only with quality and timely completion will KTC be able to grow from strong to stronger.

We have also consistently acheived a high score of at least 75 for our ESS assessment as demonstrated in our effort to continually strive for better and new safety initiatives. The 'Plan-Do-Check-Act' process which was employed in T2115 has also helped us built a better and lasting safety culture.
